I really like art, and music. Music is a wonderful thing. It's art, but the medium is in sounds.
Have you ever heard a piece of music, and seen an image of what the sound looks like? Like when you're listening to a particular classical song, do you just see the sound? It sounds kind of strange, I suppose. But there are a lot of similarities between art and music, so far as I'm concerned.
There is a different feeling when you're making the music from when you're listening to it. Instead of seeing someone else's painting unfold, you're the one drawing the picture. Same parallel, different medium. Listening is like painting, but playing is like drawing.
